A Dallas Surgeon Who Cares
Dallas Surgeon Dr. Nimr Ikram is a board certified surgeon who has extensive experience in the medical field. Dr. Ikram completed his medical training from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1996, and completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery from Garden City Hospital in Garden City, Michigan.
Dr. Ikram practiced General Orthopedic Surgery in Jackson, Michigan from 2001 to 2012 at Allegiance Hospital, where he served as the Chief of Surgery and was on many committees. His focus is to provide unsurpassed care to his patients via both non-surgical and surgical interventions. Dr. Ikram uses a wide variety of intervention methods, including: imaging studies, physical examinations, targeted x-rays, and more – all of which are aimed to target, diagnose, and effectively treat the painful orthopedic condition in the best way possible.
Dr. Ikrams philosophy is to treat his patients like family, and he takes a very informed and conservative approach. His goal is to educate patients about their condition and provide them with an individualized treatment plan for optimal outcome. He has affiliations with all major health systems, including Texas Health Resources Addison, Methodist Richardson, Baylor Scott & White, and Medical City Dallas.
From Dr. Ikram
“I like to treat my patients like my family. I take care of people of all ages from head to toe. I sit down and explain to my patients their diseases so that we can make an educated decision on their treatment plan together. I give them all of their options so they feel comfortable and knowledgeable. Most of my patients like that I can take care of most of their orthopedic problems instead of going from one orthopedic surgeon to another. If you want someone to listen, then come see me!”
